Waiting.....

I am waiting for the new SVG Cuts kit to come out.  So I have been stalking their Facebook page but nothing as of yet :(  So I watched the new StampTV video and wanted to give the clean and simple technique Gina showed us and make some cards. Problem...I had to pack my stamps away for the move...Eureka... I did not pack away my new Sweet 'n Sassy stamp sets!!! :). So I watched the video, dug out some supplies and this is what I made!!

Thanks for stopping by and having a look at what I made today!!

New Stamps

I recently discovered a new stamp company. I must have have had my head stuck in the sand, not to have found them sooner. Welcome to my blog Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!! I ordered my fist stamps and dies and I love them!!! I got the Christmas Silhouettes stamp set and matching dies, Vintage ornaments stamp set and dies, Snowflake flourish stamp set and Butterfly Flourish stamp set. I love them all!!
My first card was inspired by a card made by Korin, owner of Sweet 'n Sassy stamps!! I always have trouble with clean and simple cards, as I always want to add more, but I love how this one turned out!!
My second card was my own creation and I managed to keep it clean and simple!!

I still have more stamps to play with, but I had to pack up my crafts to move next week  Thanks for coming to take a look.

Mistletoe Manor

SVG Cuts released a new kit called Mistletoe Manor. This kit contains a beautiful Victorian Mansion, a Reindeer Card, a beautiful Damask Card, a Lace Cuff Gift Bag, and a large Damask Lantern. you can get yours here

First I made the Reindeer Card, it was simple to make and looks great!!

Next, I made the Damask Card, it is beautiful and easy to assemble.

It took me 3 days to create this Mistletoe Manor, The finished product is very sturdy, as it has 4 layers to each of the 3 windowed walls, including the printed paper the cardstock, vellum and interior liners. There are many small holes where light can shine through, with the addition of a string of 100 micro led lights (I have not gotten mine yet), so I used for this picture a push light. There is even a reinforced hole for the cord to come out and be plugged in.  This is not quite finished as I need to find the perfect Christmas decorations to complete the exterior.

The Damask Lantern is beautiful and intricate all on it's own but I think I will add some embellishments to it later.
I have not made the cuff bag yet but will add it to my next post.  Thanks for stopping by

Advent Calendar

I previously posted two advent calendars I made for my Grandkids. Here is the final calendar. I used my new Twas the Night before Christmas paper pack from Graphic 45. I sponged the white pieces with grass green ink from Gina K Designs.

'Twas The Night Before Christmas...

is the name of this awesome paper pack from Graphic 45!!
I came up with the idea to make this typewriter, from SVG Cuts Good Day at the Office Kit,  with a Christmas theme and have it typing a Letter to Santa.
Here I used the paper on a drum, from the Santa's Visit SVG Kit from SVG Cuts, to fill with treats.
I think next I will use some of this paper to make Grayson's advent calendar.

See you soon!!

Getting some Christmas things done

I started working on some Christmas projects in the past week.

This sleigh is from Svg Cuts Santa's Visit SVG Kit.  It is easy to put together and very cute!! I plan to Bling it up, but need a trip to the craft store for some bling and embellies
This cute Drum, from the same svg kit,  is open on top,
I plan to fill it with Christmas treats!!
Here I veered off track and made a Hashtag.
Back to Christmas... I started making some advent Calendars for the grandkids. This one is a bit busy as I used all printed papers, and the back is a bit wonky. I am challenged when it comes to trying to get all those sides lined up right lol.
I think this one will be for Alex.

For this one I used a printed background but stuck to card stock for the little door pieces, much easier to read this way!! Then I sprayed the whole thing with glimmer mist. This one will be for Summer.

Thanks for coming to see my creations. Happy Crafting!! I need to get busy making my final Advent Calendar for Grayson.
